Job Duties of this rewarding position as a Home Health Coder and Oasis Review include:

• Edit charts
• Review 485 orders for interventions, goals, and process measures
• Performance improvement audits as directed
• Review Oasis prior to submitting to state
• Responsible for collaborating with the Director of Nursing and Administrator regarding Branch outcomes
• Seeks clarification of illegible or incomplete documentation
• Supports auditing activities by identifying needed corrections or documentation deficiencies
• Uses skills to maximize reimbursement, balancing regulatory compliance with fiscal responsibility

Qualifications and Skills

What You’ll Bring as a UR/Coder:

• Experience in coding and recent working with Home Health Coding ICD-10
• Excellent understanding of utilization management and Home Health policies, procedures, and billing
• Experience in Home Health/OASIS
• Experience with Chart Review and QAPI (preferred but not required)
• Experience with PPS Plus (preferred but not required)
